DAY 5 – 15th January 2025 - Our first Manatee

Early in the morning daddy spotted a manatee and came back to the boat to tell everyone. We then went on a mission to find this crazy sea cow. We found it under a catamaran munching on sea grass, it was humongous and it was snorting out its nose. Daddy said it only eats seagrass and naughty children, but I know he was joking. Mommy and I then went to the little shop and bought Gran a lovely little colorful chopping board with Bahia Honda written on it. We then headed on a bus to Big Pine Keys where we went to the shops, Mummy and I went to the pharmacy and Alan and Auntie Teresa went to some boat shop. Daddy and the boys just sat and ate ice cream as it was very sunny and warm. For lunch we went to the Bagel Cafe it had a massive menu and we all left stuffed. We then went to a nature place an inside there was a table with animal's poop on it, Seanán Joked that it was his poop. I also bought a new book there. We also saw a lovely little key deer, It walked right up beside us and I was a little sad as it had a little sore leg. We then headed back to the boat on the bus and another lovely BBQ.
